my experiences with a nourishing lifestyle and sharing of my amazing water adventures along my journey

Watersong

By Wendy Johnson

I am sitting, listening to the raindrops falling, giving thanks as I feel the earth gently drinking and my body is feeling deeply content with a warm feed of Kangaroo stew.
Last night I went to a gathering at a High School for Hands Around the World, a group of elders traveling to share their wisdom. We had a traditional Hungi dinner cooked by the Maouri (New Zealand) there were Aboriginal elders speaking and Aboriginal dancers and American Indian elders speaking and sharing a film. The message was that it is time now to end the suffering we see of people and earth, by coming together as caretakers of the land as our native peoples have done for thousands of years.

I am Wendyela and I am feeling grateful to live in the very beautiful Byron Bay. At the moment I am a filmmaker, childcarer and puppeteer. I have spent the last 6 months emerging from chronic Colitis and becoming strong, fit and healthy after changing to a nourishing, traditional diet, yum… I experience amazing journeys honoring our life giving water and I would love to share my delicious life with you

  1. Dear Friends, please welcome my beloved sister, Wendy. She came into my life only a year or so ago but watching her transformation over that time, sharing my family with her and the incredible gratitude we both feel for each other are some of the most precious gifts I’ve ever received. I hope her stories nourish you all as much as they do me. Blessings, Joanne
